Claim reasons: Gas leakUpdated 4 months ago

CO2 visibly or audibly escapes from the machine when the lever is pressed, or leaks out when the machine is not in use.

The most common cause of this issue is a damaged or missing gasket. If the gas leak is visible or audible when the lever is pressed, the carbonation level is usually reduced.

If the leak is not visible and the cylinder empties when the machine is not in use, there is typically no carbonation in the bottle, as the cylinder has already been depleted.

If no excess water is collecting in the drip tray, the following troubleshooting steps should be performed:

  • Ensure proper button engagement. The carbonation button should be pressed firmly using the full hand to allow correct activation.
  • Verify if the cylinder is screwed in properly.
  • Test with an alternative gas cylinder. If available, replacing the current cylinder with a new one can help determine whether the issue is cylinder-related.
  • Inspect the gas block gasket. If the gasket appears damaged or is missing, it must be replaced. A replacement guide is available here.
