Claim reasons: Gas leakUpdated 2 months ago

CO₂ visibly escapes from the machine when the lever is pressed, or the cylinder empties while the machine is not in use.

The most common cause is a damaged or missing gasket. If the leak is visible or audible when the lever is pressed, carbonation is usually reduced. A small water spray around the top area may also appear.

If the cylinder empties while the machine is at rest, there will typically be no carbonation in the bottle, as the gas has already been depleted.

Next steps:

  1. Ask the customer to check and replace the gasket following these instructions.
  2. If the issue persists after replacing the gasket and trying a new CO₂ cylinder, replace the machine. Reason code: gas leak.
