Even though compatible, the cylinder is hard to screw in.

In order to fix this, first, remove the drip tray and place the machine sideways on a table. Insert the cylinder fully to the bottom. Then, turn the machine upside down, hold it securely, and gently wiggle the cylinder from side to side while screwing it in clockwise.

As an additional solution, a small amount of hand sanitiser or cleaning alcohol can be used to help keep the cylinder in place. A bit of alcohol can be applied to a piece of fabric and rubbed onto the sides of the cylinder’s valve. If the problem continues, a new gas cylinder should be tried.

The unit typically does not require replacement; however, the cylinder might need to be replaced.
