Claim reasons: Water in the drip trayUpdated 4 months ago

Due to high pressure, it's normal for a little bit of water to collect in the tray after carbonation, however, it should not look like a puddle.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Make sure that the bottle is not overfilled.

Pull the release handle slower (first halfway, and then all the way down), letting the valves evacuate excess gas at a lower rate. Allow the "psshhh" sound to continue for 2-3 seconds. Using the handle too fast will result in a splash.

Fill the bottle with water approximately 2 cm below the filling line to minimise the splashing.

Check the cap-gasket around the nozzle (bottle seal gasket). It’s the same gasket as in the bottle cap. The gasket can only be replaced if it has fallen out; otherwise, if the gasket is in and the machine does not work, a replacement will be required.
If the gasket is there, the surface seems smooth nd even, but when it is missing, there visible ribs around the nozzle - see the example below.

🞴 If the troubleshooting fails, the machine has to be replaced with the reason code: water in the tray
