Water accumulates inside the machine and leaks from the bottom.
When this happens, it is often due to machine being used in a wrong way: can be due to overfilling bottles, pressing the handle abruptly, or the not wiping the water down from the tray. Sometimes, the new cylinder can also be quite powerful at the beginning, which can contribute to the issue.
It is then important to check if the CO2 cylinder is tightly screwed in, the bottles are not overfilled before the carbonation, and the handle is operated in a gentle manner.
To remove any water trapped inside the machine, the plastic cover beneath the Carbonator’s foot must be unscrewed. This requires first loosening the two screws located under the drip tray, followed by the four screws positioned underneath the machine around the cylinder compartment.
