Issue 1: Unit does not operate upon first use


The product does not function immediately upon receipt; the indicator light on the start button turns off immediately after brewing begins. 

This is most likely caused by a faulty magnet in the aroma pipe.

Recommended action:
Replace the glass carafe (including the aroma pipe). If this does not help, the unit should be replaced.



Issue 2: Unit stops functioning after a period of use



The product functions initially but stops working after several weeks or months of use. This is most likely due to a faulty sensor in the machine. 

This can be be caused by a stuck magnetic float or the need for descaling.

Recommended action:
Inspect the magnetic float for obstruction - details here: Magnetic Float Troubleshooting, and if this does not resolve the issue, the unit should be replaced.
