Claim reasons: Dead/Broken upon arrivalUpdated 2 months ago

If the machine does not carbonate straight out of the box, it is important to first check whether the CO₂ cylinder is compatible and properly screwed in. It should be firmly attached and not loose. If everything here is correct, the machine should be tried with another CO₂ cylinder. Sometimes, even a new cartridge can be empty or have a faulty valve that does not allow the gas to flow properly. 

If the above steps do not help, it's good to check the gasket as well; however, if the seal is in place and undamaged, the unit should be replaced and claimed as "dead/broken upon arrival".
