Claim reasons: Cover does not stay locked in the baseUpdated 4 months ago

The cover fails to fetch and travels right back up directly when pushed down, or after the button is pressed.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Check if the unit is used properly and is not being closed by using the release handle. This is a common mistake which leads to opening the cover immediately.

Push the cover slowly when locking it in the base. Slamming it down too fast might result in the lock pins not having enough time to rotate back into their locked position

Check if the lock ring (the silver, bottom part of the cover that locks in the base) is moving. If it seems stuck, we would recommend you give it some movement left and right. That should normally do the trick. If the above didn't work, you can also loosen the 4 screws on the cover of the machine and then tighten them again (a little less tight). Then the locking mechanism should move back to the starting position. A Torx T10 screwdriver will be required to do this.

 Examples

Cover does not latch when pressed down

Cover travels back up when the button is pressed

🞴 If the issue persists after designed troubleshooting, the machine has to be replaced with the reason code: cover does not lock in the base.
